Part 18 - Appendix - Weaker reasons for belief

Muslims sometimes state weak reasons for accepting the Islamic belief. This is harmful for both Islam and the Muslim Ummah, because it weakens us all if people hold on to Islam with a weak or fragile grasp.

Weak Reason 1: We believe in Islam because there are so many signs of Allah (swt), such as the word "Allah" in Arabic found in tomatoes, fish, eggs, clouds, beehives, the kalima written in lines of trees, or trees found in the ruku position. (See a fuller description of these "signs".)

How about all the tomatoes that don\'t have Allah\'s (swt) name in them? And all the cloud formations that don\'t make the word "Allah"? And all the trees that don\'t bow in the ruku position? These outnumber these instances greatly. Does this mean that Allah (swt) doesn\'t exist?
If there was a tomato with the name "Jesus" on it... would you then become a Christian? How about a cloud formation that spelt "Ram" or if 2 trees came together as if joining hands like the Hindus... should we become Hindus because of that?
